Her bed is a boat,
rocking beneath a canopy of stars,
with the façade torn away,
and the waves rising and falling,
as the ocean breaths.
She dreams of floating on the undulating tides,
and being carried like a weightless leaf,
towards the emerald shores,
that she paddles so hard to reach,
in daylight hours.
