The moon is like a gleaming pearl
above the tropic ocean,
where crested waves like seashells curl
in undulating motion,
and sails upon a boat unfurl
to speed it’s locomotion
as warm aquatic breezes swirl
beyond the rough commotion
of crashing storms that toss and hurl
with nature’s cruel emotion.
