A knight in amour stands within a clearing,
as sunlight sparkles through the leafy cover
of branches as he waits for her appearing;
the lady whom he longs to make his lover.
But since the winds of war have started blowing,
to join the battle, he must soon be going.
She comes to him and while they are embracing,
he contemplates the future he is facing.
