Like mountains surrounding and rising
and shielding the vulnerable land,
His generous goodness comprising
the touch of His merciful hand.
Behold, He will keep us forever,
and neither will slumber nor sleep.
Consistent in every endeavour,
His love remains deep.
The Lord is our refuge and keeper;
The sun will not strike us by day.
Protecting the sower and reaper
with evil intent kept away,
He guards both our coming and going,
defending our lives with His power,
regardless of us ever knowing
His grace in that hour.
His faithfulness always enduring
through ages of infinite time;
relentless compassion ensuring
our future both pure and sublime.
The beauty for Heaven releasing
eternity’s splendorous scope;
magnificent vistas increasing
