The crow looks circumspectly through the rain with ebon eyes,
as water droplets trickle from his feathers.
He disregards the lightning bolts and thunder in the skies,
resolved to live beyond constraints and tethers.
As inclination moves him, he extends his wings and flies,
in scavenging pursuit of squalid treasures.
