Divine Direction

Divine direction lights the way
and gives us evidence for hope.
Surrounded by the gruelling fray,
we find the grace we need to cope.

Although the road ahead is long,
the Lord directs each step we take.
His Word and Spirit keep us strong
and guide each choice we need to make.

For God has promised as we go,
to walk beside us as a friend.
We find assurance when we know
He stays with us until the end.

And when our journey is complete,
arriving at the finish line,
with Jesus, we will take our seat,
and in His presence, we will dine.
